Blauwestad
The Reiderwolde nature reserve is located on the east side of Blauwestad. On one of the hills, in the southern part of the nature reserve, is a brick-red lookout tower of 7.20 meters high. From here you have an excellent view of the entire area.

The Reiderwolde nature reserve is located on the east side of Blauwestad. In this area of approximately 200 hectares you can find different forests, grasslands, swamps, ponds and hills. There are fruit trees along various cycling and walking paths, from which you can pick apples, pears and plums.
On one of the hills, in the southern part of the nature reserve, is a brick-red lookout tower of 7.20 meters high. From here you have an excellent view of the entire area. For example, you can see Blauwestad, Winschoten, Finsterwolde and Beerta.
