Sail along this summer. Every Saturday morning in July and August, there are short tours in and around the harbor.
Take a trip on the historic wooden sailing ships WR60, WR4, and WR173 in Den Oever. It is a motor trip through the harbor and into the sea channel lasting approximately 45 minutes.
The dates are:
– Saturday mornings, August 1, 8, 15, and 22.
– Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August (Flora and Fishing Days)
– Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September (Open Monument Days)
In August, only the short 45-minute trips are available. You cannot reserve for these. However, reservations for Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13 are possible. On those days, longer trips of 1.5 hours are also available, which include sailing.
A 45-minute trip in and around the harbor of Den Oever costs €10 per person. During the longer trip of approximately 1.5 hours, sailing is also included. This trip costs €20 per person. Children pay half price.
Departure from the Havenboet in the historic corner of the port of Den Oever (Havenkade 3a), at the blue RONDBAARTEN banner. Departures from 10:00 to 16:00. Weather permitting.
Booking in advance is not mandatory, but it is recommended to ensure you can join.
