Zeil mee naar de Zandbank!

Zuiderzee Sailing Tours is organizing a sailing trip on July 4, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. After a warm welcome with coffee, tea, and treats, the experienced crew will explain safety and sailing knowledge. Everyone is welcome to help, young or old, with steering, setting sails, tacking, and more.

At low tide, we reach the sandbank again. We moor the ship, and the excursion begins. We see seals, mussels, shells, seabirds, and of course, the sparkling seawater. The excursion lasts about two hours. Now the tide is coming in, and the water slowly recedes. Everyone returns to the boat. Coffee, tea, or a drink is ready.

We set sail together and set off for a short sail on the Wadden Sea. The current strengthens and pushes us towards Den Oever, so we don't have much to do. Meanwhile, a delicious vegetarian pasta dish is being prepared in the galley. Dinner is now being served on deck under sail, and it's delicious. After a wonderful day, we turn back towards Den Oever.
