Nestled between the vast fields of the Wieringermeerpolder lies the Groot family farm. Here, everything revolves around working, living, and enjoying farm life together. Carolien, Edwin, Laura, and Stephen – now joined by the third generation – are opening their doors once again during *Dagje bij de Boer* (A Day at the Farmer).

On Sunday, April 12, the farm comes to life. Meet about 100 dairy cows and 65 head of young cattle, cuddle with curious calves, and meet Tess the dog and the cats in the yard. There is something to see and do everywhere.

Are you curious how a modern farm works? Take a look at the milking robot or see how Robbie, the manure pushing robot, does his job. For young explorers, there is a scavenger hunt across the farmyard where you learn more about cows and farm life through play. In addition, there is plenty of room to play, color, and enjoy being outdoors.
