Find out what owls eat by dissecting an owl pellet

Take a look

Want to know what's left of a mouse in an owl's stomach? During Owl Pellet Dissection , you'll find out! Owls can't digest bones and hair, so they spit them out in a pellet. By dissecting this pellet, you'll find the remains of their prey.

Explore like a real naturalist

You'll use tweezers and perhaps a magnifying glass to figure out what the owl has eaten. This way, you'll see which animals are inside the owl pellet. It's both educational and surprising.

Fun for kids aged 6-12

This activity is specifically for children aged 6 to 12. You are welcome to attend with a maximum of one adult (e.g., parent/guardian). Participation costs €3.50 per child , and advance registration is required. First come, first served.

Learn and experience nature

You'll learn about owls and their place in the natural balance. It's a fun way to learn more about birds of prey, their prey, and what's happening in nature around you.
