You'll learn how sand drifts form, why the dune rabbit is essential for healthy dunes, and how plants and animals coexist here. Rabbits' digging helps keep grasses short and gives typical dune plants space to thrive – a small animal with a big impact.

Winter brings expansive views, fresh air, and a tranquil landscape. With a bit of luck, you'll spot unusual birds along the way or see tracks in the sand. Be sure to bring binoculars or a camera.
