Koen Vael is a country artist from a small town in the south of the Netherlands. At the age of four, he became fascinated with music, inspired by greats like The Eagles, Willie Nelson, and George Strait. Music became his compass. In 2020, he enrolled at the Rock City Institute, graduating three years later.
In the fall of 2024, Koen made a splash on Holland's Got Talent , reaching the semifinals. His mission is clear: to breathe new life into authentic country music. Balancing classic and modern country, he delivers raw emotion, heartfelt lyrics, and respect for tradition.
As a Dutch artist, Koen Vael bridges the gap between American and European country music fans. His musical journey began with his debut single "Hate Me" – with Nashville as his ultimate destination.
