ROUGE is an intense sensory experience that touches and resonates. Isabelle Beernaert is a leading Belgian choreographer and theatre maker, known for her powerful and emotionally charged dance performances.
Trained at the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp, she developed a unique signature in which classical technique and contemporary influences merge into a physical form of storytelling.
In addition to her theater work, she became known to a wide audience through So You Think You Can Dance, where Dan Karaty described her as “The queen of SYTYCD”.
