Get up early and join us for "Early Out of Bed" at De Helderse Vallei on February 27, 2026. You'll be there from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM before the public arrives. You'll help wake up the farm animals along with the animal keepers.

Experience as a real caregiver

For example, you'll help clean the stables and feed the animals. Some animals are even allowed outside. Put on your boots and overalls; you'll really get to help with the daily chores.

Great for families with children

This activity is specifically for families with children aged 4–12 . Your child will learn about animal care in a fun way. Participation costs €3.50 per child , and pre-registration is required .

Interactive and hands-on

This isn't a passive activity: you're right there among the animals. You see how the keepers work and actively participate. It's a fun and educational way to start your day.
