Let yourself be carried away by extraordinary stories during World Storytelling Day at the Noorderkamer. Listen, dream, and perhaps even share your own story.

World Storytelling Day focuses on the power of storytelling. The 2026 theme is "Light in the Darkness." At the Storytelling Theatre of the Noorderkamer, storyteller Josje de Baat will take you on a journey through three beautiful stories and a corresponding poem.
Sit down, listen, and let your imagination run wild. Stories can touch, connect, and sometimes even shed new light on what seemed dark.
The audience is also welcome to contribute. After all, everyone has a story to tell. Anyone who wishes can share their own story with the other visitors. This creates a warm afternoon full of connection, imagination, and inspiration.
The entrance fee is €7.50 , including coffee or tea.
