Come look for water creatures with the ranger and discover the underwater world at nature reserve Het Zwanenwater. With a dip net, magnifying jars, and identification cards, you will search for small aquatic animals. Activity duration: 2 hours.

First, look from the bank to see which small creatures can be found on the water surface. After a brief instruction, go hunting for aquatic animals with your net. Do you find a water strider, a dragonfly larva, or a tadpole? Naturally, you study the critters up close.
What to bring:
- Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty
- Wear sturdy shoes or boots
Tips from the forest ranger:
- Buy a ticket for the children online in advance;
- When registering, please enter your mobile number so that we can reach you if necessary;
- Parents may enter for free as members of Natuurmonumenten. Non-members must purchase a day ticket at the entrance to Het Zwanenwater;
- Suitable for children aged 6 to 12;
- Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed;
- Members of Natuurmonumenten receive a 30% discount on excursions.
