Together with an expedition leader, you head onto the beach at Zwanenwater. You search for what the sea has left behind: shells, ray egg capsules, and perhaps even a starfish. Meanwhile, you learn how animals live here and why the beach is so important for birds and other species.

Why do white balls sometimes roll across the beach? Which birds breed here? And what actually happens to everything that washes ashore? You will discover it as you walk, with sand under your shoes and fresh sea air in your lungs.
