With controlled humor, he sketches his attempts to shake off his awkward childhood and emerge from his shell. We follow him on singles weekends, group trips, and even during a skydive—all well-intentioned attempts to figure out life (and love). Thjum takes stock. Because there's quite a lot going on. The world, the people, the situations... Sometimes you just wonder: How did it get to this point? Thjum experiences that too. Often. And that results in an evening of slow cabaret of the highest order.
Thjum has already proven that he's no ordinary artist: in 2020, he was a finalist at the Leiden Cabaret Festival, in 2021 he won the Cameretten Festival, and in 2022, he delivered his first full-length show. He now performs under the name THJUM – short, powerful, and precisely his style: seemingly simple, yet striking in every detail.
