Winterwandeling door de Noordduinen

In winter, the North Dunes come to a rest. It's then that you truly appreciate the richness of this dune landscape. On Sunday, January 25th, join a guide from Landschap Noord-Holland for a walk through the PWN area near Den Helder. This is a long stretch of white and gray dunes, where mosses and lichens color the landscape in subtle shades of green and gray.

Along the way, the guide will tell you about the wildlife that thrives here, even in winter. Keep your eyes peeled, because you might see a rabbit darting off or a bird of prey soaring above the dunes. The route is different every time and may pass through sections that are normally closed off. This makes this walk extra special.

Good walking shoes are recommended. Participation is by reservation only; joining the walk on-site is not possible.
