With Verliefd op Portugal, FADOpelos2 presents a contemporary fado concert in which Portuguese classics and original work come together in a varied program full of melancholy, rhythm, and zest for life.

FADOpelos2 – In Love with Portugal is a musical program centering on Portuguese fado. Singer Iris Feijen and guitarist Tiago Lageira showcase the versatility of fado: from melancholic and poetic sounds to energetic and rhythmic songs.
In addition to well-known fado classics, the duo also performs a great deal of their own work, giving the traditional music a contemporary interpretation. During the performance, Iris and Tiago take the audience to the atmospheric streets and alleys of Lisbon and talk about Iris's personal connection to Portugal, which originated during her childhood in Schagen.
Iris Feijen won the SBS6 singing competition We Want More in 2020, performed with her musical idol Mariza, and went on several successful theater tours. With FADOpelos2, she continues working on her ambition to introduce Portuguese fado to a wider Dutch audience.
The concert takes place on December 20, 2026, in the Lucaskerk in Winkel and lasts from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Admission is €20 per person.
