A culinary weekend not to be missed
More than 20 Texel restaurants, eateries, and catering companies serve a total of around 100 surprising small dishes – all prepared with honest, local ingredients. From freshly caught fish to artisanal Texel lamb, you will discover the flavors of the island in small, refined portions. Perfect for tasting, discovering, and enjoying.
Theme 2026: Burgundian
Every year, Texel Culinair centers around an inspiring theme. In 2026, the chefs will take you on a flavorful journey through time with their creations centered on the theme 'Burgundian'. Naturally, with a Texel twist, because Texel Culinair is all about 'tasting the Texel way'!
Culinary competition & jury prizes
During the festival, the participating chefs compete for the titles of best dish, best participant, and best themed dish. An expert jury judges the creations on taste, presentation, originality, and the use of local products. The awards ceremony takes place on Sunday evening.
