Excursie op het Wad: ontdek vogels en natuur

Embark on a guided tour of the unique Wadden Sea area of Balgzand . During this mudflat excursion, you'll discover the birds and wildlife that thrive there at low tide. You'll learn how they feed, rest, and cope with winter conditions. It's a chance to experience the Wadden Sea up close, a UNESCO World Heritage site teeming with life.

Learn about the mudflats

A guide from Landschap Noord-Holland will take you along and tell you about the abundance of birds on the mudflats. You'll see wading birds, ducks, and other animals in their natural habitat. There's plenty of time to ask questions and share your experiences during the walk.

Accessible for nature lovers

Although the excursion is natural, it's suitable for anyone who loves nature. If you have binoculars, bring them; they'll help you see even more detail in the field.
