LOOF – seizoensopening in Johanna’s Bos

After winter, it opens up again: the ground, the trees – and ourselves. During LOOF, Johanna's Forest awakens, and together we celebrate the start of the new season.

This special festival takes place right in the middle of the landscape. As you walk through the forest, performances, music, and encounters pop up at various locations. You wander from place to place, linger somewhere, or let yourself be surprised by something unexpected. Nothing is required, except to simply be.

Along the way, you discover new talent and fresh work: sometimes raw, sometimes moving, sometimes playful. Just like the young foliage on the trees, everything is fresh, curious, and full of energy.

LOOF is for young and old. For families, friends, neighbors, and the curious who love being outdoors and culture without barriers.

This year we celebrate the fifth edition of the festival with extra performances, familiar faces, and new voices. On Saturday evening, you can take to the stage yourself during karaoke with live band De Softies, followed by a performance by folk duo Pat and Dees. On Sunday, the band Vaart will provide music in the forest.

LOOF takes place in multiple locations in and around Johanna's Bos, both indoors and outdoors. In good weather and in less good weather.
