Voor de meisjes is a 2025 Dutch thriller directed by Mike van Diem, starring Thekla Reuten and Noortje Herlaar. The film follows two couples who are friends and have shared a holiday home in the Austrian Alps for years. During a joint vacation, their teenage daughters are involved in a serious accident, quickly putting the parents' long-standing friendship under strain.
What begins as a profound moral dilemma develops into a fierce battle in which manipulation, desperation, and self-interest increasingly gain the upper hand. As events escalate, the boundaries of what is still considered acceptable blur. In doing so, the film poses the confronting question of how far parents are willing to go to protect their children.
The screening room at the film house in the Cultuurschuur Wieringerwerf opens at 7:30 PM and the film starts at 8:00 PM. Admission is €6 per person.
