Camping de Kooi has a very beautiful location at the bottom of the Arjens dune and borders the nature monument De Kooibosjes. The campsite has a quiet and spacious location, amidst forest and dunes, near a dune lake where you can swim.
Trees and shelterbelts offer shelter. Good sanitary facilities. Baby bathroom. Attractive beanery´/restaurant in former farm, open from the start of Oerol (June) until the end of August. Launderette. Electricity plots up to 10 ampère. Wireless Internet. Child friendly playground. Library. Rental of freezer packs. Campsite store at 200 m distance. Bicycle rental at the campsite during July and August. There is plenty of space to play games and sports. During the high season we organize activities for the children, such as water games, building huts, volleyball and kid's survival. De Kooi is a family campsite where calm adults age 18 and older are also welcome. Designed for tourist camping (meaning no caravans). The campsite is open from the beginning of April through to the middle of September.
Camping de Kooi is allowed to carry the title ANWB Charming camping.
