Tromp's Huys was from 1896 the home of the couple Akersloot. The originally Norwegian Betzy Akersloot-Berg had her own studio in the back, the beautiful garden with an unobstructed view over the Zuiderzee. The museum has many of her paintings and sketches in possession.
