You can find this organic dairy sheep farm on the idyllic Wadden island of Terschelling. You immediately feel like you are on vacation. First you go by boat, and then easily go to De Zeekraal by bike, bus or car!
You can find more than 250 Frisian dairy sheep at De Zeekraal. This unique and age-old variety is known for its great milk yield. As true islanders, Jolanda and Gerben can tell you everything about the charm of the area, plus all the beautiful places and nice trips on Terschelling. The family is happy to show you how the sheep are milked on the farm. Milking is done twice a day, every day. Jolanda and Gerben use the milk to make sheep cheese and ice cream themselves! These delicacies are available in the farm's own country shop. Other typical Terschellinger products such as cranberries and the delicious Wadden mustard are also available here. A quiet place has also been created on the farm where children can tinker, read and play a game indoors.
