Spending the night in complete peace
Did you have a good night's sleep in one of our great beds? A rich breakfast is served in the morning. Or a modest one if you prefer. At the Lentemaheerd, we strive to reduce food waste. What about the evenings? Of course, it's possible to go out for a nice dinner if you wish, but our guests are also free to use the shared kitchen. Because a home-cooked meal is often just as pleasant and delicious. Something we take pride in: our B&B is wheelchair accessible and we have sanitary facilities for the disabled. We really like to ensure that everybody feels welcome.
Get up close to the Groningen agriculture
We started our B&B years ago, as a secondary activity alongside our agricultural business. Gradually, we spent more and more time focussing on our guests. Having said that, we still love to tell the stories of the agricultural sector and of life in the province of Groningen. That's something you won't just experience at the Lentemaheerd itself, but in the surrounding region as well. Get on a bike and ride through the beautiful agricultural landscape. Experience the incredible palette of colours illustrated by the various crops, such as blossoming potato fields. The gently swaying wheat in the fields looks beautiful as it changes colour every season, ranging from bright green to golden yellow.
At Lentemaheerd B&B, sustainability is of great importance!
Onze groenvoorziening bloeit divers met bessen voor mens en dier. We hebben een kikkerpoel voor waterberging, grastegel parkeerplaats en groenverharding op de camping.
We maken gebruik van waterbesparende de kranen en vangen regenwater op waarmee we wassen.
We gebruiken zonnepanelen, aardwarmte voor verwarming en zonneboilers voor warm water. Dankzij uitstekende isolatie blijft het binnen warm, zelfs als de verwarming een week uitvalt.
Alles wat er staat dat staat er, maar voor de nieuwe dingen maken we wel gebruik van materialen die duurzaam zijn.
We investeren in duurzame energiebronnen, hoewel het niet altijd de goedkoopste optie is. We bieden toegankelijke accommodatie, zowel binnen als buiten op de camping, voor mensen met een beperking.
We bieden ruimte, rust en zonsondergangen bij de kikkerpoel. Kinderen skelteren over diverse paden. Voor veiligheid deed onze medewerkster een risicoanalyse.
Maandelijks verwelkomen we zorgboerderijkinderen, harmonieus met onze reguliere gasten en educatief voor allen. Onze fooienpot gaat jaarlijks naar een lokaal goed doel.
