Swim every day in the sea at one of the most beautiful places in the Netherlands

Since 1924, members of the Marsdiep Swimming Club have been braving the waves at Huisduinen. From May through October, they swim in the open sea here daily.

Sea swimming with character

The natural pool is cordoned off with lines and buoys. You change in the cabin on the dike at Zeeweg 6. The steps into the water are made of stone, so water shoes are a must. Waves, currents, jellyfish, and crabs are all part of the experience. That's precisely what makes it so realistic.

Safely into the sea together

Swimming alone is not recommended; currents and temperatures require vigilance. Swimming is at your own risk.

An association full of life

There are approximately 185 members, ranging from young to 80+. You can join for €25 per season. For an additional €5, you can get your own key to the changing room. The club celebrated its centenary in 2024.
