From the bird watching hut, bird lovers have a beautiful view over the muddy fields of the Dollard, where you can often see hundreds of colorful sandpipers. Seals and porpoises are also sometimes seen on the salt marshes. Please note: the path that leads to the hut can be rather messy. A visit to the bird watching hut is also not recommended in very strong winds.
