Historical basis, creative interpretation

Around 1900, additional gun emplacements were built along the line to stop enemy troops. In peacetime, these depots served as storage for cannons, ammunition, and troops.

From artillery to art

One of these depots is currently hosting a sculpture exhibition. The Beeldenfort cleverly utilizes the raw, historical atmosphere of the location to enhance the artworks.
