Take a look

Despite changes and repairs, this church is a beautiful example of mature Romanesque architecture.
The nave and choir, with their striking round-arched blind niches, were built of tuff stone in the late 12th century. You can clearly see that the whole building was raised in red brick in the 16th century, and that the roof was renewed at the same time. In 1808, the westwork was replaced by a sturdy, partly built-in tower.
Inside, the red pews immediately catch your eye. They make the elegant pulpit from 1715 stand out beautifully. The pulpit sits within a baptism rail with a fine cast-iron baptism arch from 1862. Slightly younger is the organ, built in 1876 by Willem Hardorff.
