Visit the Wadden Sea from our beautiful park, where you can walk, sunbathe and enjoy nature. Walk or cycle along the dyke towards Harlingen, with views of the Wadden Sea on one side and a view of a vast terpen landscape with authentic farms on the other side. Harlingen is a picturesque harbor town just 14 km away. In this city you can also enjoy a day of shopping on the beach or city hall, visit the lighthouse and the Zuiderhaven. In Harlingen the ferry leaves for the islands of Terschelling and Vlieland, which are definitely worth a visit. At 5 km from the holiday home you will find the city Franeker, known for the Elfstedentocht. Visit the historic center and the planetarium here. Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland and in 2018 European Capital of Culture, is 22 km from the park. During less hot days you can visit the indoor playground Aeolus with your children from this holiday home. This playground, located 5 km away, offers a wide variety of activities. You can discover everything in the glass pyramid. The holiday home is 7 km away from the indoor pool Bloemketerp in Franeker.
