Huisduinerkoor

The Huisduinerkoor consists of around 70 sailors. Together they sing about the rough seafaring lives of the past. From storms at sea to homesickness on shore: each song tells a story that moves you and makes you smile.

Full of strength and character

The group sings about arduous voyages, heartbreak on the quay, and the "other side" of life at sea: adventure, mischief, and plenty of drink. The choir delivers these stories with a full voice, humor, and a wink.

More than 20 years of experience

For over two decades, the Huisduinerkoor has been active in Den Helder and the surrounding area. They perform at maritime events, festivals, and commemorations. The choir is beloved for its energy and distinctive repertoire.
