The Harlinger Pottery and Tiles Factory [“Harlinger Aardewerk & Tegelfabriek”] is an authentic family business and is the last company in the Netherlands to produce pottery and tiles in an original manner. This means that the products are made entirely by hand using the tin glazing technique. Internationally, this technique is called majolica, faience, or Delftware. In Harlingen, pottery and tiles have been made using the tin glazing technique since 1598. Therefore, you can always come to us for authentic artisan tiles or pottery.

In our factory and shop, the Harlinger Pottery and Tiles Factory team welcomes you and is ready to answer all your questions. Or take a look around and be inspired. A tour around the factory is also a possibility. Tours are by appointment only and possible in groups larger than 10 persons.
