Rondje Vlieland met Uitkijkposten

Biking across the calm and spacious island: Vlieland. Enjoying the salty seabreaze through your hair and look over the Northsea while biking the island. Dunes, beaches and relatively much forests between loads of sand. There is only one village, but with enough entertainment. Tourism is the main source of revenue on the Wadislands. If you don't want to take your own bike, or if you want a tandem or delivery bicycle, the bikerental place is nearby the ferry stop.The lighthouse is probably the most impressive point of interest, standing on top of the 45 meter high Vuurboetsduinen. That makes the only 9,5 metre tall lighthouse pretty impressive. The lighthouse was placed on the island in 1909, but before that, it was already a lighthouse in IJmuiden.
Ten years after that, the lookout is builded next to the lighthouse.
