Start: Our tours start at the Oldehoofsterkerkhof, the large square near the Oldehove (the leaning tower). Our guides are waiting at the entrance of the Leeuwarden Visitor Center at Pavilion Obe. That is opposite the Ut Streekie store and the Hofdame. The walk takes 1.5 hours.
Price: This is a 'Free Tour'. At the end of the tour you can decide for yourself what you think the tour is worth and what you pay!
Language: This city walk is in Dutch. Every Saturday at 12:00 noon a second guide is also present to create an English-speaking group. And from April there will be an extra guide for a German-speaking tour on Saturdays at 2:00 PM.
Register on the A Guide to Leeuwarden website. Because we now run with smaller groups, the tours fill up faster, so we recommend that you register in advance. This means we can also use an extra guide if necessary and we don't have to disappoint anyone. Click here to sign up.
