We set sail at 10:00 AM. We will be back in Makkum around 4:00 PM. There is room for a maximum of 12 people, so be quick! The price includes lunch and coffee/tea. The trip is sailed by a certified skipper and an enthusiastic crew.
The Blazer TX33 ‘Poolster’ is an authentic wooden fishing vessel from 1918. Much attention is paid to the safety of the ship and those on board. The required statutory safety equipment is on board. The rigging and specific parts of the ship are checked annually.
Location
The ship is moored at the jetty next to the lock in Makkum. Address: Workumerdijk 1, 8754 EZ, Makkum. You can park for free at the roundabout next to the harbor in the parking lot (Suderseewei / Workumerdijk). It is just under a 10-minute walk to the ship.
Important to know
Please arrive 15 minutes in advance. There is only a very basic toilet on board. The Harbour Building does have a standard toilet. We advise you to bring a cap, windbreaker, and extra clothing. Children are required to wear a life jacket. The minimum age is 6 years. If the trip is cancelled due to bad weather (the skipper decides on this at 9:00 AM), you will receive a refund.
