Bij Jef has been the Michelin-starred restaurant of Texel since 2009. Head Chef Jef Schuur draws inspiration from home and abroad and uses mostly local ingredients.
The jury of the Lekker500 names the dishes of Bij Jef "high on taste" and decides not to get enough. Jef's wife, Nadine, is a sommelier and ensures that the wines perfectly match Jef's creations. She is SVH Meestergastvrouw and the first female Gault Millau Wine / Food Specialist of the Year.
