SHZH for the preservation of traditional sailing Since 1985 the Harlingen Historic Sailing Vessels Cooperative (SHZH) has been organising group sailing trips on historic and classical sailing ships. The common objective of the Harlingen Historic Sailing Vessels Cooperative is to maintain our beautiful sailing ships, to keep them sailing and to make them accessible to everyone. Traditional sailing deserves that. All skippers of the Harlingen Historic Sailing Vessels Cooperative are members of the SHZH. They are passionate about all vessels and pay serious attention to the wishes of the passengers. The unique way of working of the Harlingen Historic Sailing Vessels Cooperative is a result of a personal approach and the short lines of communication between client, office and skipper. It is possible to hire a sailing ship of the Harlingen Historic Sailing Vessels Cooperative for one day, two days, a week, midweek, a weekend or even longer. On board, you can cook for yourself in the well-equipped galley. You can, however, also choose to have some or all of your meals prepared by a professional caterer, one of the collaboration partners of the Harlingen Historic Sailing Vessels Cooperative. Not all sailing trips are the same. Together with the staff of the Harlingen Historic Sailing Vessels Cooperative you can prepare a plan for your sailing trip. Based on your personal preferences, we will provide you with a price indication, which is usually a tailor-made quote.
