Day trip with Blazer TX33 (sailing ship) to the Wadden Sea and the seal flat. From Makkum we leave via the IJsselmeer to the Wadden Sea, which has been on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 2009. A unique area in the world. Spot the seals along the way!
We set sail at 10am. We will be back in Makkum around 4 p.m. There is room for a maximum of 12 people, so be quick! The price includes lunch, coffee/tea. We sail with a qualified skipper and an enthusiastic crew.
The Blazer TX33 'Poolster' is an authentic wooden fishing ship from 1918. A lot of attention is paid to the safety of the ship and those on board. The required legal safety equipment is on board. The ropes and specific parts of the ship are checked annually.
Location
The ship is moored at the jetty next to the lock in Makkum. Address: Workumerdijk 1, 8754 EZ, Makkum. You can park for free at the roundabout next to the harbor in the parking lot (Suderseewei / Workumerdijk). You can walk to the ship in just under 10 minutes.
Important to know
Please arrive 15 minutes in advance. There is only a very basic toilet on board. The Port Building does have a normal toilet. We advise you to bring a cap, windbreaker and extra clothing. Children are required to wear a life jacket. Minimum age is 6 years. If the tour is canceled due to bad weather (the skipper decides at 9 am) you will get your money back.
