Nieuw & Diep has been bringing jazz back to Den Helder since 2002. With concerts full of improvisation, groove, and adventure, they surprise and delight. From intimate to explosive: every show has character.
Back from being away
The name is a nod to its predecessor, "Nat en Diep," which was active until the early 1990s. Now it's Nieuw & Diep's turn to take over. Well-known names like Rinus Groeneveld, Han Bennink, and Mischa Mengelberg have already graced their stage.
Jazz Café in De Kampanje
After Galerie Windkracht 13 closed, the foundation found a home at Theater De Kampanje. There, they set up their own Jazz Café for each show: a cozy space where you can sit close to the musicians.
